One person died late on Friday (29/04) after a serious accident on the BR-343, 4 kilometers from the entrance to the town of Altos.
A sedan Corsa, driven by a man, crashed into the back of a bus that makes school transport to the city. The driver died instantly. In the car were three people who were injured.
Images sent by WhatsApp show that the vehicle stop was almost completely under the bus.
Some students who were being transported on the bus came to fall and get hurt, but not seriously.
Information realize that the bus was stopped on the shoulder and, without proper signaling, would not have been perceived by the driver of the Corsa, these reports has not yet been confirmed by official sources.
With the body of the driver attached to the hardware, the firefighters were deployed to help in the rescue. The traffic on the stretch is congested and being controlled with the help of the Federal Highway Police.
