On Sunday night (10/04), around 23h one Hilux truck returning from the coast to the capital, occupied by a couple, strongly collided on a horse that came out of the woods crossing the BR343, the urban perimeter Piracuruca, in the northern region of Piaui.
The color silver Hilux, JIK5266 of TeresinaPI board, was destroyed after the collision with the animal, who died minutes later. The car belongs to a merchant's capital who declined to be identified. Neither of the two occupants had injuries, but the driver got sick and had to be driven to Teresina.
PRF and a tow truck arrived to attend the event, the authorities asked the hoist owner to remove the animal to the center of the track, not to cause more accidents.
